About the Role
- Work alongside experienced MEP designers to assist in the development and refinement of MEP system designs for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing calculations related to load analysis, equipment selection, duct sizing, pipe sizing, electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations and preparing lighting layouts.
- Design and drafting of HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing systems.
- Research and information gathering related to HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with the design team, engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide input on design solutions.
- Manage Project dashboards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP will be beneficial.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical, Electrical or relevant degree program.
- Basic understanding of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and components.
- Familiar with principles of psychrometry, heat & mass transfer, fluid mechanics, thermal engineering, thermodynamics and metallurgy OR basic understanding of electrical circuits, machines, protection of switch gear, power systems, instrumentation & measurements (through coursework, research, and self-study).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about design.
- Ability to multitask.
