About martai
martai is a small product studio in India building Android apps.
What you'll do
- Edit Shorts and Reels for YouTube, Instagram, and other channels from provided scripts.
- Create creatives for posts, WhatsApp and Telegram channels, including thumbnails and channel art, to maintain brand consistency.
- Utilize AI tools to generate visuals, b-roll, voiceovers, captions, and variations, followed by manual editing and polishing.
- Record app usage on an Android phone and test new features, providing feedback on any issues.
- Analyze performance metrics (views, watch time, follows) to inform future content creation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proven experience editing short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks), demonstrated through a portfolio.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Understanding of hooks, pacing, captions, and current video trends.
- Experience using AI tools for video and image creation (e.g., Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Veo, Midjourney, ElevenLabs), with an ability to discern AI-generated content.
- Access to an Android phone for screen recordings and app testing.
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or similar), Hindi voiceovers, or a personal YouTube channel with an audience.
Qualifications
- A film degree is not required; practical editing skills are prioritized.

- Stipend: ₹10,000–15,000 per month
- Location: Remote, from anywhere in India
- Duration: Full-time, 3–6 months

- Outcome: Certificate on completion and real-world videos for portfolio.
