About the Role

Hatch is expanding into North America and seeking an early-career Business Development & Growth Marketing Associate to help build its presence in Atlanta. This role is ideal for a driven, instinctive, and creative individual, potentially a recent graduate or someone with a few years of experience, who thrives in a collaborative, international environment and wants significant responsibility early on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the North American Base: Lay the foundations for Hatch’s North American business, map the engineering and enterprise landscape, build the local network, and contribute to growth strategy.
  • Hunt & Cultivate: Research industry trends, identify high-potential engineering companies and Fortune 500 accounts, develop relationships, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Supercharge the Funnel: Optimize marketing channels and execute targeted B2B campaigns to build awareness and demonstrate Hatch's value.
  • Bring People Together: Plan and manage events, roundtables, and workshops for engineering and corporate audiences.
  • Co-create & Explore: Lead content creation for LinkedIn, thought leadership initiatives, and email marketing targeted at enterprise decision-makers.
  • Pitch & Polish: Shape and refine pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for corporate clients.
  • Identify and pursue new growth channels and event enhancement opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Digital Proficiency (The Tools)

  • Hands-on experience with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Freshsales or other CRMs, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Mailchimp, Canva) through work, school projects, side hustles, or internships.
  • Added Spice: Experience with event management platforms or community-building tools is a bonus.

Growth Fundamentals (The Method)

  • Solid understanding of B2B lead generation, account-based approaches, marketing funnels, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Added Spice: Exposure to engineering, technical industries, or selling into large organizations, or a background in an engineering-related field, is a strong plus.

Creative Strategy (The Flavor)

  • Ability to find innovative business solutions and translate complex concepts into engaging campaigns and event experiences.

Qualifications

  • Collaborative spirit: Thrives working with diverse, international teams.
  • Commercial craftsmanship: Energized by uncovering opportunities in large organizations and communicating the Hatch story to leaders.
  • Impactful balance: Understands how to balance business growth, marketing, and positive impact.
  • Entrepreneurial hunger: Learns fast, takes initiative, and is comfortable building without a blueprint.

Location

  • Based in the Atlanta metro area.
  • Work will initially be from an arranged coworking space.

Why Hatch?

  • Opportunity to build something from day one and shape a new market.
  • Direct support from leadership and mentorship from an international team.
  • Work directly with senior leaders at large North American companies.
  • Role growth tied to business expansion.
  • Competitive pay: $55,000–$70,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus a performance bonus.
  • Comprehensive health insurance.
  • 20 paid vacation days plus US public holidays.
