About the Role
UST is looking for a Firmware Validation / Test Content Developer with a strong focus on power and thermal features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain firmware validation test content.
- Design positive, negative, stress, and corner-case test scenarios.
- Debug failures, analyze logs, and perform root-cause analysis across firmware and hardware layers.
- Automate test execution, result analysis, and reporting using Python.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and validation teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Hands-on experience in validating power states, power transitions, thermal controls, throttling, and related firmware flows.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting.
- Experience in embedded systems, platform validation, or pre-/post-silicon environments is preferred.
