Full Stack Next.js Developer internship

About the Role

CollegePur is an education-focused platform aiming to build a seamless digital ecosystem. We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Next.js Developer Intern to join our Tech Team. This role provides hands-on exposure to Next.js full stack architecture, real-time projects, and modern web technologies within a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using Next.js and React.js.
• Build and manage backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Work with databases, including MongoDB, Firebase, or SQL.
• Design and implement scalable, component-based architecture.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, accessibility, and SEO.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Next.js and full stack development.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong understanding of Next.js, React.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with databases (MongoDB / Firebase / SQL).
• Experience with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and security basics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
