About the Role
Simply Structural, Inc. is hiring Structural Engineers at all experience levels, from new graduates and EITs to licensed PEs. The title, responsibilities, and compensation will be matched to your experience. This is a full-time, in-office position in Phoenix, AZ 85008.
What You'll Work On
- Office buildings and office-warehouse facilities
- Retail spaces and restaurants
- Hotels
- Self-storage
- Tenant improvements and building additions
- Upgrades to existing commercial structures
Key Responsibilities (scaled to experience)
- Structural design, calculations, and construction documents
- Site visits and structural inspections
- Collaborate with the team; experienced engineers lead projects and mentor newer ones
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship provided
- Live in the Phoenix area, or willing to relocate
Preferred Qualifications
- FE / EIT certification, or a PE license
- U.S. structural design experience
- Experience with:
- Enercalc / RetainPro
- RISA 3D, RISA Floor, RISA Connection
- Steel Smart
- Bluebeam
- Vendor tools such as Hilti and Simpson
- Microsoft Office (Windows)
- Experience with site visits and structural inspections
Position details:
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85008
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
