About the Role
This individual will provide metallurgical leadership and technical support across a broad range of specialty alloy and aerospace materials applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading metallurgical process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reviewing customer specifications and supporting new product introductions.
- Providing technical metallurgical expertise throughout manufacturing operations.
- Evaluating mechanical, thermal, and corrosion-resistant properties of specialty alloys.
- Performing root-cause analysis of non-conformances and mechanical test failures.
- Preparing technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Monitoring emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for new product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) are highly desirable.
