About the Role
AXA XL offers a 10-week paid Claims internship designed to sharpen skills, broaden industry knowledge, and provide real-world experience. This internship is a launching pad for discovering what it takes to succeed in a fast-moving industry within a welcoming, innovative Claims team.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn about the roles of insurance professionals across Claims.
- Contribute to meaningful, cross-functional projects culminating in a final presentation to Senior Leadership.
- Develop an understanding of AXA XL’s retail insurance and reinsurance operations.
- Connect with leaders and technical specialists across the company through intern events, activities, and daily interactions.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment that encourages entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving.
- Receive training to better understand Claims and other multi-lines within Professional and Casualty Claims.
- Complete ad hoc and project-based tasks as needed.
- Participate in Claims negotiations.
