Intern, Business Finance

About the Role

Intern to support the sourcing side of Supply Finance. The person will work directly with the Supply Finance team on cost and rate tracking, trackers and MIS, and day-to-day analysis for the sourcing and procurement teams, and support on business case preparations and evaluations. This is a hands-on role with good exposure to how a perishable supply chain is run and costed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing finance activities, including vendor rate tracking, raw material price movements, and yield tracking.
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly trackers to monitor planned vs. actual performance.
• Assist in bottom-up Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation for sourcing-related financials.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and partner with the Sourcing and Procurement teams to support business decisions.
• Support the preparation and evaluation of business cases as required.

Qualifications

• Completed CA Inter or hold an equivalent qualification.
• Possess strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and basic data handling.
• Have strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to learn, take ownership, and ask the right questions.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data.
