AI Architecture Intern

About the Role

At PGAGI Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., we build intelligent AI solutions that solve real-world business challenges, ranging from autonomous AI agents and enterprise automation to advanced data intelligence platforms. We are looking for an AI Architecture Intern who is passionate about AI system design, emerging technologies, and solution architecture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding business problems, researching suitable AI approaches, and designing scalable AI systems before development begins. As an AI Architecture Intern, you will work closely with our AI architects and engineering team to transform client requirements into practical, scalable, and well-documented AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and translate business problems into AI solution designs.
• Research and evaluate suitable AI technologies, frameworks, models, and implementation approaches.
• Design end-to-end AI architectures, including:
• System workflows
• Data pipelines
• Model interaction flows
• API integrations
• Infrastructure considerations
• Create architecture diagrams using tools such as Draw.io or similar diagramming platforms.
• Prepare technical proposals and architecture documentation explaining how solutions will be implemented.
• Develop problem statements, solution approaches, implementation strategies, and technical documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), frameworks, and architecture best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proposed architectures are practical, scalable, and aligned with project goals.
• Assist in defining architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and AI development methodologies.
• Recommend appropriate technology stacks based on project requirements, scalability, performance, and cost.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Structures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Good programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of AI system architecture, design thinking, and scalable solution design.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams using Draw.io or similar tools.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to prepare:
• Technical proposals
• Architecture documents
• Solution design documents
• Problem statements
• Passion for researching emerging AI technologies, tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team.

Qualifications

• Previous internship or academic project experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Solution Architecture.
• Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• Experience working in AI startups or fast-paced technology environments is an advantage.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn emerging technologies.

Internship Details

• Duration: 6 Months
• Stipend: ₹10,000 per month, with a performance-based increase of up to ₹15,000 per month.
