About Mintive

Mintive helps companies put agents to work safely by building infrastructure that makes a company's own work runnable by them. Our first product is an MCP gateway providing governed access to company data and tools, controlling what agents can reach, what they did, and why. We are building the rest of the agent stack, aiming to become the system a company's work runs on. We work in person in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a flat structure and latitude over work. We are AI-native, using Claude and Codex daily, with more agents than employees. Since launching in February 2026, we have acquired 50+ paying customers, including Coursera, Arlo, and Braze, backed by investors and founders from top institutions and companies.

The Job

You will own features end-to-end, from conception to production, across gateway infrastructure, enterprise deployments, and agentic systems. The work leans backend and infra, but is not limited to it. You will use Claude and Codex as your primary working environment, leveraging agents to increase speed. Your core role involves making architectural, product, and UX decisions, hardening enterprise paths, designing connectors, protecting security-sensitive surfaces, and identifying errors in generated code. Roles are blurred, and we ship within hours, offering direct learning from founders and customers. We hire across levels, matching compensation to experience, with emphasis on judgment, range, and shipping speed.

  • Comfortable across the stack or able to pick up new languages, protocols, and domains quickly.
  • Excitement to build with agents and learn their capabilities and limitations.
  • Current daily AI building experience and desire for minimal process.

  • Developer-facing products, protocol or gateway work, or infrastructure at scale.
