Apprentice Electrician

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Apprentice Electrician role based in Karnataka, India. The position offers hands-on training and exposure to industry-standard electrical and infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior electricians and engineers in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on infrastructure and construction projects.
• Assist with wiring, panel work, and equipment connections.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment.
• Document work performed.
• Support project teams to ensure timely and quality-driven execution.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical principles.
• Practical skills in electrical work, including wiring, fixtures, and panel assistance.
• Ability to assist with maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and reporting electrical issues.
• Interest in or exposure to electrical engineering concepts relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Commitment to safety standards, use of protective equipment, and adherence to site protocols.
• Ability to follow instructions, work in a team environment, and learn from experienced professionals.
• Minimum educational background in a technical or vocational stream related to electrical trades (ITI, diploma, or equivalent preferred).
• Willingness to work on-site at project locations in Karnataka and adapt to field conditions.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to maintain clear records of work performed.
