Video Editor Internship

About the Role

GoalPe is looking for a creative and experienced video editor intern to create engaging short-form content for social media channels. The intern will primarily work on Instagram Reels, football content, promotional videos, and ad creatives for GoalPe. We are seeking someone who understands modern editing styles, fast-paced social media content, and how to make videos hold attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos
• Create engaging football-related edits and viral-style content
• Edit paid social media advertisements and promotional creatives
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and visual effects
• Turn raw clips into polished, high-retention videos
• Work with the content/social media team on new reel concepts
• Adapt edits according to trends, memes, and current social media formats
• Deliver edits consistently within deadlines

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong video editing skills
• Prior experience editing Reels, Shorts, or social media content
• Must know Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Good understanding of transitions, motion graphics, sound design, pacing, and storytelling
• Ability to create fast-paced, attention-grabbing edits
• A portfolio or previous editing work is required
• Should be responsive and comfortable working remotely

Qualifications

• Love editing and understand what makes Reels engaging
• Can turn ordinary footage into high-quality social content
• Follow current Instagram/Reels editing trends
• Can work independently and meet deadlines
• Want to work closely with a growing sports-tech startup
• Are interested in football, sports content, or digital media
• Knowledge and interest in football is a major plus.
• Experience with football edits, sports pages, meme pages, brands, or startup social media content will be preferred.

Stipend: ₹5,000/month

Strong performers can be offered the opportunity to continue working with GoalPe on a long-term basis and take on greater responsibilities.
