About the Role
The FPGA/MCU Intern will support the development, testing, and optimization of embedded control systems for advanced digital printing machinery. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in FPGA and microcontroller-based design.
- Write and debug firmware.
- Help integrate hardware and software components.
- Participate in hardware bring-up.
- Conduct functional testing.
- Document designs and test results.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot system issues and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Foundation in digital electronics, embedded systems, and basic FPGA/MCU architectures.
- Exposure to HDL languages (such as VHDL or Verilog) and familiarity with FPGA development tools is beneficial.
- Basic programming skills in C/C++ for microcontrollers and understanding of firmware development workflows.
- Ability to read schematics, work with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), and perform hardware debugging.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and documentation quality.
- Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in industrial automation, digital printing systems, or motion control is an added advantage.
