About the Role
Modern Market Eatery is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join their farm-fresh eatery team, which serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. This role is for individuals passionate about ensuring smooth shifts and meeting guest service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
- Continually monitor food and food quality.
- Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
- Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time.
- Work all stations in the restaurant, recognizing where you are most needed.
- Assist Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
