About the Role
Akartha is a Bengaluru-based creative agency seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor Intern eager to learn, experiment, and grow in video production and post-production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the video editing team in understanding project briefs and post-production requirements.
- Create and edit short-form content for social media and other digital platforms.
- Assist in organizing footage, selecting shots, and assembling video sequences.
- Support the team in creating storyboards and planning shot sequences.
- Assist with basic color correction, transitions, typography, graphics, and sound design.
- Work on music selection, syncing, and arranging audio to enhance video storytelling.
- Collaborate with the video and social media teams to incorporate feedback and improve edits.
- Assist in preparing videos in different formats and resolutions for various platforms.
- Explore creative editing styles, trends, and techniques to improve content quality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic knowledge of video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Good sense of visual storytelling, timing, transitions, and composition.
- Interest in social media content creation and short-form videos.
- Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and creative workflows.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Freshers and students passionate about video editing and filmmaking.
- Candidates with basic editing knowledge and a willingness to learn.
- Applicants with a creative mindset and an interest in storytelling.
- Candidates who can share their previous edits, personal projects, or showreel (if available).
Location: JP Nagar, Bengaluru (On-site)
Work Timings: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday – Friday, Alternate Saturdays)
