About the Role
SkillOrbit is seeking a skilled Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. The Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security systems to safeguard applications, networks, and sensitive information.

Qualifications
- Expertise in Application Security, including identifying vulnerabilities and implementing secure coding practices.
- Strong knowledge of Network Security and Infrastructure Security best practices for detecting and addressing unauthorized access or threats.
- Proven experience in Cybersecurity and Security Engineering, focusing on safeguarding systems against evolving threats.
- Proficiency in Information Security principles, including data protection, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI DSS.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or CISM) preferred.
