Role Description
The Software Engineer Intern will support the development and maintenance of internal tools and systems used across the Binary Works workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing and testing code.
- Assisting in back-end web development tasks.
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues.
- Documenting technical work.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and other team members to implement features, improve performance, and ensure reliability of software solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work effectively in a team setting.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding and documentation.
- Interest in building practical software solutions and improving user and operational experiences.
