The Paid Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position in Chennai. This role supports audit and assurance engagements, taxation tasks, and due diligence and advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support audit and assurance engagements by preparing working papers, assisting with fieldwork, and documenting findings.
• Assist with taxation-related tasks including data compilation, basic return preparation support, and maintaining compliance records.
• Support due diligence and advisory assignments through data analysis, report drafting, and client coordination to gather information.
• Maintain organized documentation.
• Utilize firm-approved tools and software.
• Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and auditing fundamentals, including familiarity with financial statements, basic audit procedures, and statutory compliance.
• Skills in data analysis, documentation, and report drafting, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools (spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software) and comfort in a technology-enabled environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including professional interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.
• Cleared both groups of CA Inter.
