About the Role
Join Deloitte as a Services Associate, Quality Engineering, to deliver high-quality testing support for financial applications within the Government and Public Services practice. This role offers hands-on experience across the software testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, review, maintain, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, performance testing, scalability testing, reliability testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, track, analyze, and retest defects, coordinating with development teams for resolution.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Playwright.
- Review automated test results.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, business analysts, project managers, and UAT teams to define testing strategies and support releases.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Manual Testing experience.
- Automation testing using Playwright.
- Finance Domain Testing Knowledge.
- Experience creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with defect logging, tracking, and defect lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, or user acceptance testing.
- Exposure to performance testing concepts and scenarios.
- Experience with test automation concepts and frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience supporting financial applications such as SAP or Costpoint.
- Knowledge of project budgets, profitability, or bill rates.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
