About the Role
The Accountant role at Mishra & Associates Blr is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting.
- Support tax filing and statutory compliance.
- Review documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Respond to client queries on financial matters.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, GST, and other statutory compliance requirements relevant to Indian businesses.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate statements, and support audits and reviews.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting firm or corporate finance department is preferred but not mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
