Machine maintenance

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Machine Maintenance role based in the Pune Division. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and automation equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Executing repairs.
• Coordinating with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintaining maintenance logs.
• Following standard operating procedures.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring problems, recommending corrective actions, and assisting with equipment upgrades or modifications.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for industrial and automation machinery.
• Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling, inspections, and implementation of maintenance plans.
• Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to carry out mechanical and basic electrical repairs safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshooting complex machine issues, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system faults.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards and safe work practices within manufacturing or automation environments.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Prior experience in an automation, robotics, or manufacturing setup is preferred.
