About the Role
This is a remote internship role for a Software Engineer at theaadikoder. The Software Engineer intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software components, with a primary focus on back-end web development tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Writing and testing code
- Debugging and resolving issues
- Reviewing pull requests
- Collaborating with other engineers on feature implementation
- Documenting technical solutions
- Participating in code reviews
- Learning best practices in software architecture and object-oriented design
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Familiarity in building and maintaining APIs or server-side applications
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), using at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar)
- Ability to read, understand, and write clean, maintainable code, with attention to testing and debugging
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Interest in learning modern web frameworks, cloud platforms, and best practices in software engineering
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software design principles
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Ability to collaborate within a distributed team
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
