About the Role

Join Data Eminence as a remote Financial Markets Associate and contribute to researching financial markets, analyzing economic developments, monitoring financial instruments, and preparing structured market insights. You will work with financial data, market trends, company performance, and industry research to support informed business and investment-related analysis. This role provides hands-on experience in financial research, market monitoring, data analysis, financial reporting, and quantitative analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor domestic and international financial markets.
• Research stocks, bonds, indices, currencies, commodities, and other financial instruments.
• Analyze financial market trends, price movements, and trading activity.
• Track economic indicators, interest rates, inflation, and monetary policy developments.
• Research publicly traded companies, sectors, and industries.
• Review company financial statements, earnings reports, and corporate announcements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial and economic data.
• Prepare market research reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Maintain financial spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical records.
• Compare company and sector performance against relevant benchmarks.
• Identify trends and patterns in historical market data.
• Assist with fundamental and quantitative financial analysis.
• Monitor financial news and developments affecting market conditions.
• Support financial modeling and valuation activities where required.
• Maintain accurate records of research findings and data sources.
• Collaborate with analysts and other teams on research assignments.
• Present financial insights clearly to internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on market developments, financial regulations, and emerging financial technologies.
• Use AI-powered research and analytical tools to improve financial data workflows.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in financial research, capital markets, investment analysis, or relevant academic projects.
• Strong interest in financial markets and economic developments.
• Basic understanding of equities, bonds, indices, currencies, and other financial instruments.
• Familiarity with financial statements and fundamental financial concepts.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts.
• Familiarity with financial data platforms and research tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Strong research and information interpretation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare structured reports and present findings clearly.
