About the Role
Cadence Education is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to support students' development and learning through the Montessori philosophy. This is a full-time position working as part of a teaching team to foster a lifelong love of learning in children aged birth through 6 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers.
- Work amongst a team of teachers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
- Provide basic care and active supervision of young children.
- Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate with parents on routine matters regarding the health and care of students.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Minimum required CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).
- Past experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is encouraged.
