Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to work closely with the founder across a variety of interior design projects. This is a full-time hybrid role involving work from home for design development and documentation, along with regular site visits, client meetings, and material selections across Pune and PCMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, and working drawings.
• Develop furniture details, elevations, sections, and execution drawings.
• Create and modify 3D models and visualisations based on project requirements.
• Assist with space planning, design development, and material, finish, furniture, and lighting selections.
• Accompany the Principle Designer on site visits to take measurements, assess site conditions, and coordinate design requirements.
• Attend client meetings, vendor visits, and material selections whenever required.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to communicate design requirements.
• Maintain organised project drawings, documentation, and revisions.
• Manage assigned tasks independently while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• A completed degree or diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Basic understanding of 3D visualisation and rendering workflows.
• Familiarity with interior materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and construction drawings.
• Ability to read plans, take site measurements, and translate design concepts into accurate drawings.
• Working knowledge of MS Office for documentation and project coordination.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should have their own laptop with the necessary design software installed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of D5 Render, V-Ray, or similar rendering software is preferred.

Work Requirements

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Mode: Hybrid — work from home for design and documentation tasks, with on-site visits as required.
• Location: PCMC (Pune), Maharashtra
• Candidates must be based in Pune or PCMC and comfortable travelling to project sites.
• Must be available for site visits, client meetings, and material selections whenever required.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
