Compliance Analyst

About the Role

The Compliance Analyst (Fresher) will support the legal and compliance functions by assisting in the review and monitoring of regulatory requirements related to financial and legal services. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Pune City, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The position offers significant learning opportunities for early-career professionals interested in regulatory compliance and integrated business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing data.
• Preparing basic compliance reports.
• Maintaining documentation for audits.
• Helping ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinating with finance, legal, and technology teams to track compliance status.
• Supporting company registration and documentation processes.
• Contributing to risk identification and mitigation activities.

Qualifications

• Skills in Regulatory Compliance and a basic understanding of legal and compliance frameworks in financial and business services.
• Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective Communication skills, with clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Foundational knowledge in Finance, such as financial concepts, reporting basics, and an interest in financial services.
• Understanding of Auditing principles, including documentation practices and support for internal and external audits.
• Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with digital systems and software is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment, maintain confidentiality, and uphold high ethical standards.
• Strong organizational skills, willingness to learn, and capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
