About the Role

This role requires basic knowledge to participate in design, build, test, and deploy effective testing solutions. The consultant applies appropriate technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the Testing and Support organization. This level role provides exposure to fundamental software Automation testing principles and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• With guidance, work on SAP Manual Testing, Functional and Regression Test Automation.
• Assist in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end-user requirements.
• Test all aspects of the product/system, including function/component, system, performance, regression, and service.
• Assist Design and Development teams to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version management.
• Set up test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and execute these cases.
• Apply, design, and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
• Record test results, report, and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans.
• Handle performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams.
• Answer technical issues to resolve and follow up.
• Run monitoring reports for usage, performance, and/or availability.
• Document solutions for the knowledge base and bring new ideas for innovation and automation excellence into the Support team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• SAP Testing, SAP Test Automation, and Validation is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira is a plus.
• Understanding of Microfocus ALM Software (Microfocus Quality Center).
• Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, campaign reports, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related fields like engineering, design, etc., from Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in related fields like engineering, design, etc., from Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Possesses exposure to or education in:
• An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product.
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual.
• Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours as needed.

Additional Information

• Travel Requirements: 10% (up to 26 business days per year).
• Physical Requirements: Sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time.
• Shift: Occasional on-call work required. Prefer 12 PM – 9 PM India time.
