Specialized Finance Solutions Delivery Consultant

About the Role

Deloitte's Finance Transformation team helps clients define and execute finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, assisting clients in navigating challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounting operations for the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), including property, plant, and equipment (PP&E); leases; accounts payable; accounts receivable; reimbursable agreements; and Intragovernmental Payment and Collection (IPAC) transactions.
• Prepare and support monthly financial reporting deliverables.
• Support charge card management and compliance activities.
• Reconcile accounting data and maintain documentation that supports reporting and operational processes.
• Coordinate assigned tasks, monitor deadlines, and communicate status, issues, and deliverables with engagement and client stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
• SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required, without the need for overnight accommodations.
• 1+ years of experience supporting accounting operations involving property, plant, and equipment; leases; accounts payable; accounts receivable; reimbursable agreements; or Intragovernmental Payment and Collection (IPAC) transactions.
• 1+ years of experience preparing monthly financial reports.
• 1+ years of experience supporting charge card management and compliance activities.

Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements

• Hybrid Work Model: Residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia).
• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and "Moments That Matter."
• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance.
