About the Role

An internship at Manchitra Design Studio offers hands-on exposure to the full design process, from initial concept development to on-site implementation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in West Delhi. The intern will collaborate closely with senior designers to learn industry best practices and project workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing concepts, layouts, and presentations for ongoing projects.
• Assist with space planning.
• Prepare mood boards.
• Source materials and FF&E.
• Help with furniture layouts and selections.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and coordination with vendors and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to support layout development and design concepts.
• Skills related to Furniture and FF&E to assist with selection, specifications, and coordination of design elements.
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow design guidelines and project timelines.
• Ability to work on-site in West Delhi and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
