About the Role
Cambrian Bioworks is seeking a Junior Video Producer to create video content showcasing their lab automation products, including extraction instruments, NGS automation, reagents, and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit short product demos, how-it-works explainers, and customer stories.
- Edit reels and short clips for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Film in the lab, at customer sites, and at trade shows using various equipment, including phones, cameras with gimbals, and microphones.
- Incorporate motion graphics, captions, and simple animation to clarify workflows.
- Maintain a library of footage and brand templates.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to plan future video content.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut proficiency.
- After Effects experience is a plus.
- Comfort with shooting on a phone and professional camera equipment (with gimbal and mics).
- Experience managing a library of footage and brand templates.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience editing video (freelance, college, and internship work accepted).
- A reel or portfolio of your work.
- An eye for clean, simple storytelling.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear visuals.
