About the Role
- Position: Optometric Technician I
- Location: The Woodlands, TX
- Company: Keplr Vision (Woodlands Eye Associates)
Key Responsibilities
- Support optometrists by performing pre-screening tests and assisting with exams
- Collect patient medical histories and explain vision benefits clearly and confidently
- Train patients on contact lens use and care
- Verify insurance, schedule appointments, and keep communication flowing smoothly
- Help coordinate patient flow and contribute to a seamless, high-quality experience
- Collaborate with your team to meet goals and deliver exceptional care
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting
- A team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude toward supporting team success
Optometric or medical experience is a plus!
Optical or optometric experience is great, but not required—training will be provided.
