About the Role

The Data Analyst Intern will support data-driven decision-making across ClimaCrew’s seaweed value chain in a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from internal systems and external sources.
• Performing basic statistical and analytical assessments to identify trends and patterns.
• Assisting in building and maintaining simple data models and dashboards that help teams understand supply, demand, and operational performance.
• Preparing clear reports and visualizations for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborating with different teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Documenting methods and findings to support ongoing projects.
• Coordinating with Site Teams on a day-to-day basis for data collection and understanding requirements.
• Converting data into a standardized format, including creating Google Forms.
• Developing and maintaining a database using PostgreSQL.
• Performing data cleansing and validation on raw data, handling missing values, and ensuring data quality.
• Analyzing large amounts of information using descriptive and productive analysis, statistical techniques, and machine-learning algorithms.
• Visualizing data through the creation of visual representations and dashboards using tools like Power BI.
• Preparing comprehensive reports for management.
• Forecasting & Predictive Analytics by leveraging historical data, analyzing statistical patterns and machine learning models.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficient in using database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Skilled in utilizing data visualization tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or matplotlib/seaborn in Python.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Data Science Skills: Expertise in statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and analysis, and proficiency in machine learning algorithms (both supervised and unsupervised learning) and feature engineering.
• Knowledge of AWS and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Engineering.
• Certification in Data Science and Data Analyst course.
• Previous internship experience in Data Science and Data Analyst.
• Detail-oriented and a learning mindset.
