Junior Accountant

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Raipur at YnD Design Studio. The role offers the opportunity to support a growing, design-led practice and contribute to well-crafted spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations
• Record financial transactions
• Maintain ledgers
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices
• Track expenses
• Reconcile bank statements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with financial reporting
• Coordinate with external accountants or auditors
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to track project-related costs
• Help maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger management.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in handling numerical data, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and project-related financial documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Relevant educational background, such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a professional services or design-related environment, is a plus.
