Junior Accounts Executive / Tally Accountant

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accounts Executive (Tally) / Tally Accountant role located in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily accounting entries in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintaining ledgers.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Tracking accounts receivable and payable.
• Supporting GST and other tax-related documentation.
• Assisting in preparing basic financial reports.
• Coordinating with internal departments for billing and documentation.
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Organizing invoices and maintaining supporting documents.
• Providing administrative support to the accounts team as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software.
• Ability to handle day-to-day accounting entries and ledger management.
• Good MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word) for preparing reports and maintaining spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliation, and invoice processing.
• Familiarity with GST and other statutory compliance processes, including documentation and record maintenance.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work on-site in Jharsuguda and collaborate within a small, dynamic accounts team.
• This is an entry-level role (on-site).
