Role Overview

Stay Ukiyo is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented Sales Intern to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This role provides hands-on experience in sales, client relationship management, lead generation, and business development within the travel and hospitality industry. The intern will work closely with the sales team to manage customer inquiries, follow up with prospective clients, assist in converting leads into bookings, and support new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Management: Handle incoming inquiries, connect with prospective customers, and maintain regular follow-ups to convert leads into bookings.
• Sales & Conversions: Understand customer requirements, recommend suitable villas and holiday packages, and assist in closing sales.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build positive relationships with clients by providing timely responses, accurate information, and professional service.
• Business Development: Assist in identifying new sales opportunities, developing client relationships, and exploring potential partnerships.
• CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, and booking status in the company’s CRM or sales tracker.
• Sales Presentations: Help prepare sales pitches, proposals, brochures, and presentations to communicate Stay Ukiyo’s services effectively.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and property partners to ensure smooth communication and a seamless booking experience.
• Training & Learning: Participate in sales training sessions, shadow experienced team members, and assist with onboarding or sharing product information.
• Process Improvement: Share ideas to improve lead conversion, customer engagement, and overall sales efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first approach.
• Basic understanding of sales, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and other productivity tools.
• Comfortable working on-site in Mumbai.
• Interest in travel, tourism, hospitality, or business development.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, telecalling, or internships is an advantage but not mandatory.
