About the Role
Smart IT Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking energetic, customer-focused, and target-oriented candidates for the position of Sales Associate - Health Insurance. The role involves promoting health insurance products, generating leads, assisting customers, and achieving sales targets. This position requires excellent communication, customer relationship management, and sales skills, along with a willingness to work in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through field visits, customer referrals, tele calling, and other sales activities.
- Promote and sell health insurance policies to individuals, families, and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable health insurance plans.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and daily activity reports.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Willingness to travel locally for field sales.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of district-level business targets.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of local/regional languages is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Minimum: 10+2 / Higher Secondary.
- Graduate in any discipline is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication and sales aptitude may apply.
- Experience in health insurance, life insurance, banking, financial services, or field sales will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the Meghalaya market and local business environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of health insurance products or willingness to learn.
