AI Intern

About the Role

The AI Intern will support the design, development, and evaluation of data- and AI-driven solutions for agricultural use cases. This is a full-time role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and cleaning data.
• Building and testing machine learning models.
• Running experiments.
• Documenting results.
• Collaborating with researchers and product teams to translate field challenges into technical problems.
• Prototyping algorithms.
• Generating insights that inform decision-making.
• Assisting with literature reviews.
• Assisting with model benchmarking.
• Assisting with preparing presentations or reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Programming (e.g., Python, R, or similar languages).
• Familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and computational thinking.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, such as problem-solving, quantitative reasoning, and ability to interpret data-driven results.
• Exposure to Data Science concepts, including data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, and basic statistical techniques.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Machine Learning, such as supervised and unsupervised methods, model evaluation, and experimentation.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and communicate technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Interest in agriculture, sustainability, or social impact, and willingness to learn domain concepts related to climate-resilient agriculture and agri-tech.
