Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop electronic hardware for advanced semiconductor test systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits from concept to validation.
• Selecting electronic components to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
• Creating schematics and collaborating with PCB designers for optimized layouts.
• Performing circuit simulations, analysis, and design verification using industry-standard tools.
• Debugging, testing, and validating PCB assemblies with laboratory equipment.
• Developing technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
• Creating automation scripts to enhance design efficiency and data analysis.
• Supporting prototype deployment, customer validation, issue resolution, and design improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or related engineering field.
• Experience with PCB schematic capture and EDA tools like Siemens Xpedition, Cadence OrCAD, or KiCad.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice or PSpice.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Designing mixed-signal systems for test or semiconductor applications.
• Supporting products through prototype, deployment, and sustaining phases.
• Scripting or programming for automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of AI tools and large language model prompting techniques to enhance workflows.
