About the Role
Earthwise Architecture is a young design practice focused on creating meaningful interior spaces and architectural experiences. The studio integrates design, architecture, and research to develop work that responds thoughtfully to context, culture, and everyday life. Projects often explore the intersection of art and built form, emphasizing careful material choices and spatial quality. Team members collaborate closely to experiment with ideas, refine details, and deliver designs that feel both contemporary and grounded.
The Interior Intern will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and material palettes for ongoing projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, where the intern will work closely with architects and designers to learn studio processes and gain hands-on experience in interior design.

- Prepare mood boards.
- Organize project documentation.
- Help with presentations for clients and internal reviews.
- Coordinate samples.
- Visit project sites when required.
- Contribute to research on materials, furniture, lighting, and relevant design references.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar drafting software, SketchUp/Revit or other 3D tools, and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent for presentations).
- Ability to conduct design and material research, organize references, and translate insights into clear, structured concepts.
Qualifications
- Background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with basic knowledge of spatial planning and detailing.
- Strong visual and material sense, with an interest in furniture, lighting, and finishes that respond to context and art.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and incorporate feedback in a studio environment.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and a willingness to learn through hands-on project work.
- Portfolio demonstrating academic or professional interior/architectural work is highly beneficial.
