Cashier

About the Role

Nando's PERi-PERi is hiring Cashiers to join their North American team. Both full-time and part-time hours are available. This role offers a fun and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the Nando’s experience at the register.
• Accurately manage cash and credit card transactions.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift.
• Be a menu expert and guide customer selection.
• Accurately enter customer information into the register.
• Work efficiently and provide warm, gracious service.
• Collaborate with the team to exceed guest expectations and provide the Nando’s experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Commitment to quality service.
• Food and beverage knowledge.
• Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Basic English language and professional communication skills.
• Hand-eye coordination.

Physical Requirements

• Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for an extended period.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout the shift.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping.
• Pushing and Pulling.
• Lifting overhead.
• Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels.
