About the Role
The World Trade Factory – The Future Belongs To You – Drones Engineering Associate internship at SKXYWTF is a remote role focused on exploring and supporting next-generation drone technologies within the context of intelligent capital and global trade infrastructure. This internship is designed to offer hands-on exposure to innovation at the intersection of drones, advanced technology, and digital markets, while working closely with mentors and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the conceptual design of drone systems and use cases.
- Supporting prototype and simulation work.
- Contributing to documentation related to drone operations, safety, and integration with data and trading platforms.
- Researching emerging drone applications in logistics, data collection, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Collaborating with engineering, product, and strategy teams to align drone capabilities with SKXYWTF’s AI and DeFi ecosystem.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational knowledge or strong interest in drones, robotics, or autonomous systems, including basic familiarity with flight principles, sensors, or control systems.
- Exposure to engineering disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or computer engineering, or relevant coursework in related technical fields.
- Ability to conduct structured research on emerging technologies, regulations, and use cases for drones, and to synthesize findings into clear recommendations.
- Comfort working with data and technology-driven environments; interest in AI, blockchain, DeFi, or digital infrastructure is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team setting.
- Self-directed work style, curiosity, and readiness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, innovative organization.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in a STEM, business
