Associate

About the Role

• Associates play a senior team member role on BCN cases.
• Lead simple cases independently.
• Drive analysis on more complicated cases with significant direction from a Project Leader.
• Act as primary point of contact for Bain case teams from any global office.
• Provide feedback and coach Analysts on task execution.
• Often interact with clients across levels and geography from cases they are aligned to.
• Reports to: Manager/Project Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient with sound business logic and ability to structure approaches/presentations for adding value in complex business analysis.
• Quickly grasp different client businesses and perform research/analysis across all geographies and industries.
• Prepare an action plan for clients to implement strategic solutions and manage their execution.
• Ability to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published.
• May have first-level team management responsibility, which generally involves conducting performance discussions/appraisals, allocating and reviewing work to a small team of analysts.
