Social Media Content Creator

About the Role

ABBS is looking for a creative and energetic Social Media & Content Creator to join their team and strengthen their digital presence across platforms. The role requires someone comfortable being on campus every day, actively capturing content, coordinating with students and faculty, and turning everyday campus moments into engaging digital stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Manage ABBS-School of Management's social media pages across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Video Production: Shoot videos on campus, including student testimonials, faculty interviews, alumni stories, campus activities, and promotional content.
• Reels & Short-Form Content: Conceptualise, shoot, and edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form videos.
• Campus Coverage: Capture academic activities, student achievements, events, festivals, workshops, and institutional milestones.
• Content Creation: Develop creative ideas, scripts, captions, and content formats aligned with the ABBS brand.
• Editing & Post-Production: Edit videos, add subtitles, incorporate music and graphics, and deliver platform-ready content.
• Content Calendar: Plan and execute a consistent social media posting schedule.
• Trend Monitoring: Identify relevant social media trends, formats, audio, and content opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
• Community Engagement: Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions, and coordinate responses as needed.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance, reach, engagement, and follower growth, and recommend improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Working knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, VN, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Hands-on experience with shooting videos using a smartphone or camera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Media Production, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, video creation, and digital storytelling.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with students, faculty, and management.
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced campus environment.
• Freshers with strong creative skills and a good content portfolio are welcome to apply.
• A portfolio of reels, videos, or social media content is an advantage.
