Private Equity Internship Program

About the Role

Resonance Partners is a lower middle market investment firm focused on acquiring and partnering with businesses in Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS). Our internship program offers meaningful exposure to private equity investing, business development, transaction analysis, and firm operations. This is an unpaid internship.

Available Openings

• Senior Investment Analyst (2 Openings): Help run transaction processes, coordinate diligence efforts, manage IA/OA work-streams, and contribute to investment decision-making.
• Investment Analyst (3 Openings): Support active deal evaluation and execution. Responsibilities include: Financial (LBO) modeling, Industry research, CIM review, Market analysis, Diligence support, Investment screening, Thesis building.
• Origination Analyst (14 Openings): Act as the sourcing engine of the firm. Responsibilities include: Building target company lists, Market mapping, Company research, CRM management, Outreach to business owners and intermediaries, Pipeline development, Data analysis. All candidates entering the traditional investment track begin at the OA level.
• Operations Associate (1 Opening): Help build and improve the systems supporting the firm. Responsibilities include: Recruiting operations, Candidate management, Onboarding/Off-boarding, Process improvement, Documentation, Internal tooling and systems projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Scheduling: Flexible
• Term Length: 12 weeks

Qualifications

• Origination Analyst Candidates: Persistent, Organized, Curious, Comfortable with repetition and process, Motivated to learn the fundamentals of private equity.
• Investment Analyst Candidates: Comfortable working with numbers, Curious about business models, Detail-oriented, Capable of independent work, Interested in financial analysis and investment decision-making.
• Senior Investment Analyst Candidates: Highly accountable, Strong communicator, Comfortable leading work-streams, Able to prioritize competing demands, Confident interacting with senior professionals.
• Operations Associate Candidates: Extremely organized, Process-oriented, Reliable, Operationally minded, Interested in helping organizations scale.
