About the Internship
For a staffing company, the website is the primary point of contact for employers and candidates. This internship offers the opportunity to work on a live site, contributing to the development and maintenance of essential pages like client enquiry forms, job listings, candidate registration, and blog posts. You will gain experience in ensuring pages load quickly and function correctly, seeing your contributions impact real visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and update web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Write PHP code for enquiry forms, candidate registration, and custom features.
- Connect pages to MySQL databases and write necessary queries.
- Customize WordPress themes and set up plugins.
- Translate approved design layouts into responsive, working pages.
- Fix layout bugs, broken links, and display issues across browsers and devices.
- Improve page speed through image optimization and code refinement.
- Participate in daily check-ins and weekly reviews to share progress.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of PHP or hands-on experience with WordPress.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Familiarity with browser developer tools.
- A habit of testing your work before sharing.
- Attention to small details.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of MySQL, Bootstrap, or Elementor.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- A live website, portfolio, or GitHub profile showcasing your work.
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, diploma programs, or any stream with strong web skills.
- Self-taught developers with a demonstrable project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience is not required.
- Must be available full-time for the internship duration (1 to 3 months).
Working Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Saturday (or as assigned).
- Includes daily check-ins and a weekly review.
