About the Role
This internship offers hands-on experience in enterprise-style Java development at Medinex Workforce. You will learn to build structured, tested, and stable software, working on real modules and participating in code reviews.
What You Will Do
- Write clean, well-structured Java code using object-oriented principles.
- Build and test simple REST services using Spring Boot.
- Connect applications to MySQL using JDBC, or JPA and Hibernate.
- Work with collections, exception handling, and multithreading basics on real tasks.
- Debug and improve existing modules under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write unit tests with JUnit to verify code correctness.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and participate in code reviews.
- Share progress in daily check-ins and weekly reviews.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good understanding of core Java and object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with the Collections framework and exception handling.
- Patience with debugging and curiosity about good software design.
- The habit of testing your code before sharing it.
- A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.
- Exposure to Spring Boot (Nice to have)
- Knowledge of Maven or Gradle, Postman, and Git (Nice to have)
- A GitHub profile, coding practice profile, or a personal Java project (Nice to have)
Qualifications
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, or related streams.
- Self-taught developers who can show a project or certificate.
- Freshers are welcome; prior experience is not required.
- Must be available full-time for the internship period.
