QA Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

RTAC is looking for a technically skilled QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. The role focuses on building reliable test scripts, improving test coverage, identifying defects, and streamlining quality assurance processes across software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications.
• Create automated test suites for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Automate web application testing using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Perform mobile application automation using Appium or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop and execute API tests to validate backend services and integrations.
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and report software defects.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate issues and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing documentation.
• Support automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Java, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
• Understanding of API testing, REST services, and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, and defect-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Freshers with automation testing projects, certifications, or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
