About the Role
RTAC is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to evaluate software applications, verify business requirements, and ensure consistent product quality. The role involves testing web-based applications, identifying functional defects, validating user workflows, and working closely with development teams to deliver reliable software.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze application requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Validate application workflows, business logic, and user interface behaviour.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Retest resolved issues and verify fixes before application releases.
- Conduct cross-browser and compatibility testing.
- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and defect records.
- Coordinate with developers and business teams to improve application quality.
Qualifications
- Understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Knowledge of test case design, defect reporting, and bug life cycle.
- Familiarity with web applications, browser testing, and basic SQL queries.
- Exposure to Jira or similar bug-tracking tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, observation, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Freshers with relevant testing projects, training, or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
