About the Role
The PSCV Engineering Development Program - Validation Engineer I (Onsite) role at Pratt & Whitney is part of the Engineering Development Program (EDP). This program includes three rotations, each lasting 12 months, 9 months, and 9 months, respectively, within distinct disciplines of the hiring department. The EDP aims to provide breadth and depth in technical experiences through challenging positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine Validation Planning, Assembly, Test and Analysis Engineering
- Development and Operational Engine Safety Engineering
- Assembly Process Engineering
- Measurement Systems Engineering
- Test Systems & Operations Engineering
- Planning, assembly, and testing of commercial and military development engines.
- Ensuring engines meet customer, quality, and safety requirements.
- Compiling relevant requirements as the focal for the Engine Integrated Product Team (EIPT).
- Coordinating instrumentation and assembly of necessary hardware and support equipment.
- Conducting specified test objectives and recording relevant data for validation and certification.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science or STEM major obtained by start date.
- Accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the year, both domestically and internationally.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Prior internship experience with Pratt & Whitney or other Raytheon Technologies companies.

Salary range: 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD
